Dealing with Camera Overheating

Troubleshooting

Overheating Causes

Cameras can overheat during prolonged use, especially when recording high-resolution video, in direct sunlight, or in hot environments.

Preventing Overheating

Avoid direct sunlight, ensure adequate airflow, and take breaks during long recording sessions. Reducing resolution or frame rate can also help.

  • Turn off features like Wi-Fi when not needed.

  • Stop recording periodically to allow the camera to cool down.

  • Ensure firmware is up-to-date
